Replica of so-called "výtěžkový" thaler from Charles VI period standard “Výtěžková” coinage includes coins struck from raw-material extracted in a specific place. In wine terminology it could also be called coinage with “controlled designation of origin” (AOC). The custom to strike such coins came to Bohemia from the Saxonian side of the Giant Mountains. Each such coin bore the name and symbol, or patron, of the specific mine. “Výtěžkový” thaler of the last Habsburg on the Czech throne was struck in 1718 in the Prague mint from silver extracted from Jáchymov mines. The imperial eagle depicted on the reverse side of the thaler has two coat-of-arms on his breasts, one with the Czech lion and the other with St. Joachim.
