Spejbl: Listen, now I wonder ... Do you know, that you're the oldest child in the world? Hurvínek: Daddy, do you know at all, that you are, on the contrary, the youngest father in the world? Yes indeed, you were six when I was born… Spejbl: Well yes. I was a bit hasty. And this is how it ended, you know? Because you're a student with the longest schooling! Hurvínek celebrated his 90th birthday this year and it is the mutual taunting with his muddleheaded but caring daddy Spejbl, which provides them a popularity among children and adults, and that also earned them their own commemorative Smart coin made of pure gold. Their relationship, however, in nearly a century has undergone many changes. Spejbl began as a smart-annoying and petty bourgeois, who only instructs everybody and Hurvínek (back then he was called Spejblátko), was the metropolitan braggart.  A relationship gradually emerged from their interaction and Hurvajz became a naughty son of the old bachelor. Their plays thus have been enriched by an intergenerational dispute. But surely you are wondering whatever happened to the mom of the wooden family! In the theater S+H is said, that Mr. Spejbl used to be a great womanizer and a his child gave him a woman with an ill repute, who disappeared to an unknown place. In fact, the puppeteer Josef Skupa did not want to caricature the role of a mother, and therefore he did not even create her. Therefore Hurvinek’s only mother remains a linden tree and about Mr. Spejbl vainly dreams Ms. Kateřina. The reverse of this gold coin is designed by the young and talented medaillist Irena Hradecká, DiS., who designed Hurvínek and Žeryk as well, and is dedicated to Mr. Spejbl with all his typical attributes - a bald head, bulging eyes, large nose, protruding ears and an old tailcoat which gives his comical expression some seriousness. His name is there as well. The license to issue the Smart coins provides NIUE ISLAND, and therefore the obverse side contains the necessary elements of the issuer: the name and portrait of Queen Elisabeth II., the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and its year of release 2016. Spejbl is the second issue from a closed collectors miniseries and has its place in the collector's album, which is a part of coins dedicated to his son. This mintage amounts to only 100 pieces!Spejbl: Listen, now I wonder ... Do you know, that you're the oldest child in the world?
