Set of 2010 circulation coins Zlín region standard This full-year set of circulation coins contains standard Czech coins that were not released into general circulation and did not become valid legal tender in a particular year. The coins at face values of CZK 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 are packaged in decorated carton folders, complete with an original token dedicated to the theme of the set. The decorated and lacquered carton folder contains photographs and descriptions of the Zlín region landmarks. The Zlín region, newly created in 2000, is located on the eastern border of the Czech Republic with Slovakia. Its administrative centre is the city of Zlín where in the 1920s and 1930s Tomáš Baťa executed his grand business plan and which attracts admirers of functionalism up to this day. The original token made of Nordic Gold (alloy CuAl5Zn5Sn1) was designed by sculptor Vladimír Oppl. Its obverse side features the landmarks and the coat of arms of Baťa’s city, Zlín. The reverse side offers a view of the illustrious Kroměříž Chateau, included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The archiepiscopal chateau and the adjacent gardens are sometimes dubbed Haná’s Athens.   Limited edition of 10,000 sets
