On July 6, 2015 it would be 600 years since Jan Hus died burnt at stake in Constance. This anniversary also reminds the extraordinary issue of a silver medal by The Czech Mint dedicated to the great man who was not afraid to fight for the truth even at the cost of cruel death. This is the third issue of the most beautiful series of unrealized proposals arising from bank competes coin with a nominal value of 10 000 CZK - Medal burning of Jan Hus followed by the Golden Bull of Sicily and the arrival of missionaries Cyril and Methodius. For all three works of art reminding of big anniversaries watershed moments in our nation's history, we have prepared a common luxurious wooden etui, which will underline their value. When on11th October 1414 religious thinker, reformer and preacher Jan Hus after a lot of thinking went on the way to Constance, he did not know that it was his last trip. He planned to present his sermons on peace and sufficiency of Christ's law, but the fate and his enemies wanted to do that otherwise. They accused him of heresy and arrested him. There were 42 his senteces pointed out from his Writings on church  under which he was tried, convicted, and imprisoned in the castle Gottlieben. Further interrogation led to the desecrated Jan Hus 6th July, 1415 in Konstanz Cathedral and the same day he was burned at the stake outside the city. His valuable thoughts, however, were not destroyed and represent an invaluable reference current even today.   Engaging silver medal burning of Jan Hus is workof an important medallist and teacher Luboš Charvát, whose flair for original compositions gave rise to very well-done numismatic artwork. The obverse side of the coin presents a portrait of Jan Hus in front of the flames along with inscription Master Jan Hus, 1415 and 2015. There are memorable words along the perimeter of the medal, "HEAR THE TRUTH, LEARN THE TRUTH, LOVE TRUTH, FIND THE TRUTH." The reverse side of the coin bears the impressive layout of arms and other master's quote "TELL THE TRUTH, HOLD THE TRUTH, BECAUSE THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE". The  unique medal jewel which will capture the attention of every collector, is strictly limited to 1000 pieces, therefore, do not delay, purchase and enjoy the rare addition to your collection!
